Picture this: a beautiful natural setting, filled with the laughter and excitement of children from all walks of life. They're playing games, exploring the woods, participating in meaningful ceremonies, and gathering around the campfire to sing songs and share stories. And through it all, they're learning about themselves, each other, and the world around them.
This is the magic of our annual camps. For over 100 years, we've been bringing children and young adults together for a week of fun, friendship, and personal growth. |
All Are Welcome: We believe every child deserves to experience the joy and wonder of camp, regardless of their background or needs. All ages are welcome, and we strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Simple Living in Nature: We leave the distractions of modern life behind and embrace the simplicity of living close to nature. Campers sleep in tents, cook their own vegetarian meals, and participate in outdoor activities that foster a deep appreciation for the Earth. Equality and Community: At camp, everyone is equal. Campers and adult volunteers alike pay the same fee and share in all aspects of camp life. This creates a strong sense of community where everyone looks out for and learns from each other. Empowering Ceremonies: Our inspirational ceremonies are woven throughout the camp experience, providing touchpoints for campers to reflect, connect, and grow. These ceremonies are the heart of camp, stimulating personal insight and transformation. Ridiculous Fun: From the dragon game to silly skits around the campfire, laughter and play are a vital part of the camp experience. We believe in the power of fun to bring people together and make learning a joy. Lifelong Impact: Campers often say their time at camp is life-changing. They leave with greater self-awareness, new friends, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world. Many return year after year, eventually becoming the adult volunteers who make camp possible for the next generation. |
